Have you ever looked upon the giants,
Past the mountains in the distance?
They were not always so mighty long ago,
When they sat with us on this fence.
In that day their craft was soft,
Easy to mold but also to chip.
They labored with all manner of rock,
Shaping the stone and learning new tricks.
They did not work alone to build their skill,
Climbing on the backs of those before them.
They looked to the future with heads held high,
Looking behind to remember where they've been.
How wonderful it would to know that feeling,
To walk the gauntlet and come out the other end.
Standing by their side as we look to the horizon,
And see the young on
Bearing thyself true,
Sound of body and mind; pure,
Grasp firm the taut chain.
Inhibitions known,
Scathing to the soul; searing,
Breath drawn, strength returns.
Walls splinter and crack,
Driving force commands action,
Inspired, directed.
Goal seen as challenge,
Practice applied; new knowledge,
Glimmer; wings unfurl.
Years pass; humbled by time,
Pride and fame; seen unworthy,
Walk the Path of B!
Hear the Rule of B,
Striking in poise and resolve,
Embodied purpose.
Hot burning desire,
Flaring up within ourselves,
Life's mission now revealed.
The path has been lost,
Trapped in doubt; dark clouds trespass,
Soul lost and frigid...
Desire returns, fierce,
Renewed vigor, erupts forth,
Body and soul, now one.
Seek your shining star,
Fight tooth-and-nail, seek your dream,
Hear the Rule of B!
